Description: Georgetown County,SC is soliciting sealed bids for drainage improvements located along US Hwy 17 Business, extending to the marsh at Channel Bluff Ave. in Pawleys Island, SC. See project manual and drawings for specifications and full bid requirements. 


 This project is being funded in whole or in part by the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP), which is administered by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) and funded by federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). All federal SLFRF requirements and SCIIP requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be actively registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and may not be debarred from doing business with the federal government. Respondents on this work will be required to comply with all applicable federal regulations, including those listed in the project manual.

Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 6/3/2025 10:00 AM

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Pre-Bid Meeting & Site Inspection will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. This meeting is voluntary (not mandatory) but attendance is strongly encouraged. This will be an in-person meeting held at the Georgetown County Historic Courthouse, County Council Chambers, 129 Screven St., 2nd Floor, Georgetown, SC 29440. The purpose of the meeting is to help answer any questions bidders may have regarding the project. The County’s official responses will be provided after the meeting via addendum.
