Description:

The County is seeking a consulting firm and/or team to serve as General Consultant to the County in support of Okeechobee County Airport.  The firm/team must be experienced in providing comprehensive planning, design, bidding, construction phase and all support services for projects. Services may include, but are not limited to, civil engineering design, airfield design, environmental design; utilities and infrastructure design; surveying; evaluation and documentation of existing conditions; verification of as-built conditions including field verification of all existing above and underground utilities; cost estimating and scheduling; technical studies; permitting; construction administration and resident engineering; and all other related services including coordination with the County, its other Consultants, the City and all agencies having interests in the projects such as the FAA, the TSA, the FDOT, SFWMD, USACOE, etc. The Services may also include design on various County projects and all other engineering and related professional services which may be required where the County elects not to solicit letters of interest by means of public advertisement and will involve coordination with current and future projects at the Airport.
