Question: Preconstruction and Construction Management Services to Construct the New Arlington Transit (ART) Operations and Maintenance Facility in Arlington, Virginia, On a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Basis Request for Qualification No. 20-030-RFQ May 7, 2020 Clark Construction Group, LLC Request for Information 1. The Demonstrated Project Experience of The Company indicates that each reference project must have a construction value that is the same or greater as the County’s proposed project, which is identified as $45 million. Please consider clarifying that two of the five reference projects can be at least $20 million. 2. The Demonstrated Project Experience of The Company indicates that each reference project must be completed. Please consider clarifying that two of the five reference projects do not need to be fully completed. 3. The Demonstrated Project Experience of The Company indicates that each reference project must be similar in scope. Please consider indicating that one reference project that does not need to strictly have the maintenance facility but must be CMAR and include an operations and administration facility. Note: Please consider all of the above RFI’s so that Clark Construction Group, LLC can clearly meet the prequalification requirements, and that Arlington County can receive more qualified responses.
