Description:

The City of Callaway requests qualification statements from firms for the Cherry Street Resurfacing and Sidewalk Design improvements on Cherry Street from US 98/Tyndall Parkway to Star Avenue in Callaway Florida.  The sidewalk portion of the project may be federally funded with assistance from the FDOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).  By submitting a proposal, the Consultant certifies that they follow FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) with prequalification by FDOT to perform 3.1 Minor Highway Design and 8.2 Design, Right-of-Way, and Construction Surveying types of work.

 

The services sought are the survey, design, and permitting of resurfacing and sidewalk improvements on Cherry Street from Tyndall Parkway (U.S. 98) to Star Avenue, approximately 1.5  miles. The work primarily consists of resurfacing of roadway and construction of new ADA compliant concrete sidewalks, crosswalks, pavement markings, and other appurtenances. All proposed improvements on Cherry Street shall be located within the existing right-of-way.
