Description: Sealed Bids: The Jones County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the construction of the project entitled FY2024 LMIG & FY 2024 LRA – Full Depth Reclamation Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of Various County Roads until, 3:00 p.m., August 14, 2025, local prevailing time at the Jones County Government Center at 166 Industrial Blvd., Gray, Georgia 31032. All Bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.

Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the Contractor's license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.

Work to Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project titled FY2024 LMIG & FY2024 LRA – Full Depth Reclamation Leveling, Overlay, and Stripping of Various County Roads. In general, the project consists of full-depth reclamation, leveling, overlay & stripping of Chippendale Road; Jeffie Russell Circle, Mattie Wells Drive, Green Shade Road, and other roads.

Plans and Contract Documents: Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review only at the Jones County Commissioners Office and the Dodge Plan Room. Copies for bidding purposes can be obtained from Ingram & Associates, L.L.C., 332 New Street, Macon Georgia 31201, Phone: (478) 745-3996, Fax: (478) 742-4690, Email: ashley@ingrameng.com upon payment of $75.00 for each digital set (non-refundable). Bidders MUST acquire Bidding Documents from the Engineer in order to bid this project.

Bonds: All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition.

Funding: Any Contract or Contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded through the Jones County Board of Commissioners FY2024 LMIG, FY 2024 LRA Programs & SPLOST.

The Owner: reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all non-conforming , non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the owner believes would not be in the best interest of the project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid is not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the owner.
