Description: Hampton County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified general contractors for limited additions, renovations, and repairs to two existing senior center facilities in Hampton County. One facility is in the Town of Hampton and the other is in the Town of Estill. The project will include limited demolition of certain site features, existing exterior window, door, and wall components, limited interior walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing components, and other related features. Once the demolition work is completed modifications to the site and building will include upgrades to the existing site accessible parking spaces, limited landscaping, building addition, new exterior windows and doors, repair and painting exterior metal roof and wall panel systems, new interior walls, new interior finishes and the installation of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems/components. The Project construction work will be permitted through the local jurisdictions of the Towns of Hampton and Estill. Pre-Bid Meeting Details: There will be a Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting beginning at 2:00 PM on January 11, 2022 at the Hampton Center, 108 Pine Street West, Hampton, SC 29924 and then moving to the Estill location, 571 5th Street East, Estill, SC 29918.
