Notice of Addendum #1 has been issued for this project.  Please contact the Office of Jim D Koontz & Associates, Inc., 3120 North Grimes, Hobbs, NM 88240 for the Notice of Addendum along with all plans, specifications and contract documents. 575-392-7676. 

The Curry County Board of Commissioners are requesting competitive sealed bids for the Re-Roofing Project at the Senior Center, 1120 Cameo Street, Clovis, New Mexico.  Bids will be received from Bidders at the Curry County Administration Office, 417 Gidding Street, Suite 100, Clovis, NM on:
April 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.
and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after opening time will be kept on file unopened and will be opened and considered only in the event that all bids are unresponsive.

The bid is to be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond or Cashier's Check, in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid, payable to the Owner, with the understanding that if the proposal is accepted, the Bidder will, within fifteen (15) days thereafter, enter into a contract and give acceptable Surety Company Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in the full amount of the contract for such work.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked: “Bid No. 2019/20-08 – Do Not Open” along with the Bidder’s name and address.

Bids may not be withdrawn after the bid opening for at least 90 days, or until Notice of Award of Contract or Rejection of Proposal has been received.

In case of failure of the successful bidder to enter into a Contract and give acceptable Performance Bond and Payment Bond, the Bid Bond or Cashier's Check will be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages, otherwise it will be returned to the Bidder within forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bid.

All Competitive Sealed Bids shall be in accordance with plans, specifications and contract documents which were prepared by and may be examined without charge in the office of the Engineer, Jim D. Koontz & Associates, Inc., 3120 North Grimes, Hobbs, New Mexico. A non-refundable fee of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) per set will be required.

Curry County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all formalities. Curry County reserves the right to award the contract to multiple bidders.

Bidders will meet at Curry County Administration Office, 417 Gidding Street, Suite 100, Clovis, NM.

Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 4/2/2020 2:00 PM

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A pre-bid conference will be held over Zoom teleconference on April 2nd at 2:00 pm MST and attendance is required. Bidders will need to submit their email addresses to Troy White with Jim D. Koontz and Associates, Inc., at Troy@jdkoontz.com by 1:00 pm MST on April 2nd to receive an email invitation to the meeting. Please refer to the Notice of Addendum for more information.
