The City of Etowah is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors for the full demolition and removal of a condemned residential structure located at 201 Athens Pike, Etowah, TN 37331. The building has been deemed unsafe and not salvageable per Etowah Municipal Code §155 and the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code.

🏚 Structural Summary
The subject property is a 1.5-story residential building exhibiting extensive deterioration and code violations. Key deficiencies include:
• Roof System: Sagging, water intrusion, partial collapse; structurally unsound
• Foundation: Major cracking, shifting, subsidence; compromised load-bearing capacity
• Exterior Walls & Siding: Missing/damaged siding, exposed framing and utilities
• Utilities: No active water/electric; systems are non-functional and non-compliant
• Interior: Severe neglect; vegetation growing through floors and walls
• Zoning: Non-compliant with residential use; no operational business activity

🛠 Scope of Work
The selected contractor shall:
1. Demolish all structural components including base, porches, and upper story
2. Remove all debris, vegetation, and hazardous materials from site
3. Cap/terminate utilities per code and coordinate with utility providers
4. Grade and stabilize the site post-demolition
5. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations including Etowah Municipal Code §155
