Description: Widgeon Point is located at 2789 N. Okatie Highway, at the southwest end of the Broad River Bridge. The Point is being developed by Beaufort County as a passive park. This first phase of the project will result in (see Architectural Plan): - A new and improved entrance/gateway into the park. - An asphalt drive leading to a pervious concrete paved parking lot - A gravel paved connector will tie into this asphalt drive, leading to an existing dirt road - A brick paver walkway leading to a pavilion, bird blind, bathroom and barn - A fence bisecting the island (basically NNE to SSW)
