Description:

It is the intent of Beaufort County to solicit proposals for Food and Beverage Concessions at the Hilton Head Island Airport Terminal from interested and qualified companies.  The County is seeking a competent operator whose concept will complement the Island’s character and will enhance the image of the airport as a gateway to the Island, a global tourist destination.

 The current food and beverage concession contract at Hilton Head Island Airport has expired and is currently on a month-to-month basis; therefore, the County is soliciting proposals from experienced food service vendors to provide food and beverage services to Airport patrons.   The County intends to award the Concession to the company which, in the County’s sole discretion, makes the most favorable proposal and demonstrates the capability and expertise necessary to operate the Concession to the satisfaction of the County.

 The Hilton Head Island Airport is seeking a food service concession to operate daily including weekends. The proposer is expected to consider a variety of methods to serve the traveling public.  Due to an expected large increase in passenger traffic through the airport and possible structural and operational modifications in the terminal, proposals should be flexible and adaptable.  This may mean that proposals will include items such as mobile carts/kiosks, food trucks, vending options, and other similar features.  The menu should consider all meal times and should offer items such as pre-packaged items to go.
