The Oconee County Board of Commissioners (OCBOC) is requesting sealed proposals be delivered to the Purchasing Officer in Suite 203 of the Finance Department, 23 N. Main Street, Watkinsville, GA 30677 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from qualified and experienced contractors to do exterior renovations at its Historic Facilities located on the Heritage Park property at 2543 Macon Highway in Bishop, Georgia 30621. The work will be focused mainly on two main projects: the roof replacement of the Log Cabin, which will require new cedar shakes as the roofing material and the general renovations to the other four facilities, to include the Farm House, Tenant House, Milk House, and Smoke House. The work scope provided in the RFQP documents and pre-submittal meeting site tour will be the contractor’s source of information for developing a proposal.

At that time, date, and place given above, in Suite 205, the sealed proposals will be publicly opened and only the names of the respondents will be read aloud.

No bonds are required for this RFQP. Questions regarding this RFQP should be directed to Ms. Karen Barnett, CPPB, Purchasing Officer via Email at kbarnett@oconee.ga.us and shall be received no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

OCBOC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities and informalities in procedure.

Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 4/10/2018 10:00 AM

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Heritage Park address referenced above. The purpose of this meeting is to allow potential offerors an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification of the requirements of the proposal document and tour the facility. Because Oconee County considers such a meeting to be critical to understanding the proposal requirements, attendance at the pre-submittal meeting is mandatory to qualify as an offeror.
