Description:

This is an invitation to your firm to participate in Polymer Performance Evaluation at our three Water Reclamation Facilities, and one Water Production Facility.  Vendors are encouraged to bring their products to our facilities and run a series of tests to determine which product(s) they would like to run through our performance evaluation process. As always, the polymer product(s) the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) is currently running will be the competition.  The test will have two phases and both phases must be completed successfully at the sole discretion of CCWA for approval as a polymer to be used in our system. Testing will run from March 1, 2021 through October 29, 2021. Any and all polymer(s) deemed “successful” will be included in our 2022 annual bid request for Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals. Each vendor wanting to participate in the polymer performance evaluation must first submit the request to each facility per the form provided in the attached RFI documents.

In an effort to promote responsible environmental practices, the package is available in electronic (Adobe PDF) format and can be requested by calling 770-960-5223, M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, or by e-mail to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us.  Vendors will need to provide contact information including email address, and any file size transfer limits to ensure email transmittals can be made. 

A hardcopy bid package can also be requested at a cost of $25.
