Description: SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners requests proposals from professional firms for
information technology services including but not limited to: networking, equipment, fiber optic connections,
design, VoIP, routing, switching, administration, analysis, installation, cyber security, physical security, access
control, camera systems, storage, virtual environments, website design and administration, and email.
The nature of the service will be to provide Priority 1 through Priority 4, support, consultation, or coordination in
order to enhance and ensure proper implementation of the aforementioned system components. Services of the
contractor shall be under the direction of the Information Technology Director or designee, who shall act as the
County's representative during the performance of the scope of services. The consultant shall complete the
attachment, Table 1: Products and Qualifications. Note the software and/or hardware solutions for which your
company would like to be considered. Include related certifications, training, and designations of being an
authorized dealer for equipment noted.

Do you currently use Microsoft Teams and/or Microsoft SharePoint? Is there a software in place currently to manage endpoints remotely? If so, what product(s) are being used? How often are the devices and endpoints being updated? Monthly/quarterly/etc. basis? Do you have employees working remotely that use a company device? Do you offer Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to employees? Is there a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution deployed? How many desktops/laptops/mobile devices are you supporting? Which version of Windows are the desktops/laptops running on? Are user devices being backed up? If so, how often, and do you have retention policies in place? Are the servers on-site or on the cloud? Hybrid? If you have a cloud environment, is it Azure/AWS/other? How many servers do you have? What operating system are they on? Do you have any Windows Server 2012/2012R2? Any Linux Servers? Is there a Disaster Recovery plan in place? What is the infrastructure at the failover location? How many databases are you using? Please specify which ones. What are some of the critical applications being used today? Any ERP applications? Microsoft is sunsetting Windows 2012 servers in October. Is there a plan to upgrade/replace your current 2012 servers. Please provide details. What is the network topology currently used, and how are these locations communicating to each other? Is there a VPN in place for remote access? Is there a firewall? What is the speed of the network connection to the internet? Do you have a backup connection? How many Routers, Switches, and Firewalls are in your network? How many buildings/locations? Is there a current vendor now supporting the County? If so, what is the monthly spend with them? How many desktop/mobile users does the county have? Are most devices currently under manufacturer’s warranty? Would an engagement, include remedial maintenance service for client devices? What pricing is the county looking for fixed project, hourly rate, All-inclusive service monthly maintenance? Is there a defined scope of projects that would be completed under this solicitation? Is there a current contract for the services included in the solicitation? If so, who is current vendor? And what are they charging for their services? What are the current SLA Priorities the county has now? Is it anticipated that all work would take place onsite or remotely? Is there a requirement to have full time onsite presences? A proposal price shall be indicated for each section, proposal item, alternative, adjustment unit price item. What are the various sections, items, etc? Section 24, indicates you can engage with alternate vendor, if problems are not resolved, is awarded vendor going to be notified before this engagement?
