Description: Escambia County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) seeks an upgraded training program for our Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Our EMT's and Paramedics provide basic and advanced life support care to the citizens and visitors to Escambia County daily. This care ranges from basic first aid to more advanced medical and trauma related emergencies. The basis for this training is to ensure all personnel meet Florida state EMS guidelines, and to provide them with advanced level care capabilities. The training program will provide for the assessment of proficiency, knowledge and communication skills with other team members. This will allow personnel.to gain further knowledge, skills and abilities that will enable them to execute their job as a pre-hospital provider more effectively and efficiently.
