Description: The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) is seeking a firm to provide an automated vehicle locating, monitoring, and tracking system, along with the ability to give turn by turn directions with voice prompts, routing, and ability to accept a destination from the AVL for fuel optimization. CCWA will open sealed proposals from vendors on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (local time) at its office located at 1600 Battle Creek Road, Morrow, Georgia 30260 for Automated Vehicle Locator System (AVL). Any proposals received after the specified time will not be considered. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference Call will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (local time). Vendors interested in participating in the conference call meeting should email our Procurement Department at ccwa_procurement@ccwa.us no later than Tuesday, March 8, 2016 by noon. The email needs to include the participant’s phone number, and CCWA will provide call in instructions. In an effort to promote responsible environmental practices, the proposal package is available in electronic (Adobe pdf) format, and can be requested by calling 770-960-5223, M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or via email to CCWA_Procurement@ccwa.us. Proposers will need to provide contact information and an email address, and any file size transfer limits to insure email transmittals can be made. A hard copy proposal package can also be requested at a cost of $25.
