Title: Notice of Invitation to Bid - Transportation of Municipal Solid Waste

Description: Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Raton, New Mexico for the Transportation of Municipal Solid Waste. The work shall generally consist of transporting approximately 5000 tons of municipal solid waste annually to one of three designated landfills. The contract term shall be for two years with mutually agreed upon renewal opportunities for up to (two) additional years.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, located at the Raton Municipal Building, 224 Savage Avenue, P.O. Box 910, Raton, New Mexico 87740. Bids are due by Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time. Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. The City of Raton reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids as deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Raton.

1. Bidders are instructed that there is a mistake on Instruction To Bidders Page Number 2. Bidders are instructed to disregard the submittal Date of June 3, 2021 listed on the form. The Correct Bid Opening Date and Time is Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM All other information in the project manual / bid packet shall remain unchanged.

Bidder must acknowledge receipt of the addenda and attach to the Bid Form. Receipt of Addendum No. 1 must also be acknowledged on Page BPF 3 of the Bid Form by the Bidder:
