Description: NOTICE AND ADVERTISEMENT FOR CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WALKER COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION:  
HVAC AND LIGHTING RENOVATIONS TO GILBERT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

1.1 SOLICITATION: A. Sealed Proposals from General Contractors will be received by Walker County Board of Education "the Owner" in the Facilities and Operations Department at 298 Culberson Avenue, LaFayette, GA 30728 until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2025 for construction of:
HVAC AND LIGHTING RENOVATIONS TO GILBERT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 87 S. BURNT MILL ROAD, LAFAYETTE, GEORGIA 30728

B. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 1:30 P.M. onsite of project address. Any person or entity that fails to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting will not be permitted to submit a Proposal for the Project and any Proposal submitted by a person or entity that did not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be returned unopened.  C. No extension of proposal will be made
