Competitive sealed bids will be received by the Owner, for

Downtown Raton Infrastructure Project

for IFB N^o. 2021-0401____ Project No.:  CDBG  19-C-NR-I-01-G-16

Project: The City of Raton plans to construct improvements to 3rd Street from Cook Avenue to Parsons Avenue, Cook Avenue from 3rd Street to 2nd Street, Park Avenue from 3rd Street to 1st Street, Clark Avenue from 3rd Street to 1st Street, and Savage Avenue from 3rd Street to 2nd Street.  The Project consists of mobilization; milling concrete pavement and asphalt pavement; remove and patch deteriorating underlaying pavement, as necessary; placement of pavement fabric for crack sealing; adjustment of manholes and water valves; application of tack coat; placement of asphalt overlay; removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete drivepad, concrete valley gutter, storm drain inlets, and accessible ramps; and placement of pavement markings.  The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate existing streets, storm drain inlets, concrete sidewalk, valley gutter, and curb and gutter to improve the functionality of the area for Raton residents.

Bids will be accepted at 224 Savage Avenue (hand delivery) or P.O. Box 910 (mail delivery), Raton, NM 87740 until May 4, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.

This Project is funded in whole or in part by a grant from the state of New Mexico Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to requirements of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the funding agency.
