Question: Will there be a time for a walk though to be able to view the buildings. Who is the incumbent. Why are you going out for BID? Does the scope of work mirror the RFP serviced by the incumbent? How long has the incumbent been servicing? Could you expand outlook on budget Can we have the tabulations for the previous bid? What is the current monthly cost?
Response: 1. Please contact the person listed for each location in order to set up a time to visit the location. 2. Metroclean Commercial Building Services currently has the bid. 3. The contract is complete so we are re-soliciting the services. 4. Yes the scope mirrors current needs. 5. This was a four year contract 6. No 7. Previous tabulation will be uploaded to vendor registry. 8. The yearly expenditure is approx. $276,000.

Question: General questions 1. Can we please get daily Occupant visitor head count for each site location by floor and area? 2. On the additional service cost please provide the square footage for the carpet by location. 3. On additional service cost please provide the square footage for the floor cleaning by location. 4. On additional service cost please provide the square footage and height requirement by location. 5. Please provide scope documents for specialty floor care, i.e. Wood, gymnasium, marble, etc 6. Please verify the single page scope of janitorial services applies to all locations. 7. Please provide days of the week service for Oscar Johnson community center. 8. Question: Can you clarify the difference between Carpet Cleaning and Floor Cleaning on Page 9 of the RFP? I am trying to understand the difference because next to floor cleaning in parenthesis I see carpet listed. Can you clarify on the Parks and Rec Pricing Page (Page 9), that the City of Conroe is specifically looking for a price per service for Carpet Cleaning, as in Carpet Extraction? Can you clarify the City of Conroe definition of what Vinyl and Tile is? The way I read this is Vinyl is VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) and Tile is where there will be grout lines.
Response: Yes just a price for carper cleaning as needed, per time.
