Description:

The City of Milton (“The City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop an economic development strategy and marketing plan for the Deerfield Corridor of the City of Milton.  The Deerfield Corridor is an area of roughly 2,200 acres at the Georgia 400 Windward Parkway Exit and extends up Highway 9.  It is already home to the Verizon Headquarters, Exide, and Change Healthcare in addition to numerous office buildings, restaurants, hotels, and retail establishments.  There is still room for growth and we want to ensure that the small amount of remaining land is developed to its fullest potential.

The firm chosen to conduct this work will be required to develop a project timeline, to include regular reports of progress/deliverables/benchmarks at agreed upon intervals beginning with 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, etc.

The expressed goals of the project are to:

·         * Develop an understanding of the regional economic situation and opportunities and means for capitalizing on these opportunities.

·        * Develop an economic development strategy and marketing plan for the Deerfield Corridor.

The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
