THE CITY OF LAKE CITY IS ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE HYDRANTS & FITTINGS.                                                                                        ALL FITTINGS TO BE DUCTILE IRON AND MJ X MJ. ALL HYDRANTS AND FITTINGS MUST MEET AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION (AWWA) STANDARDS. 

Please note: All parts must also meet our Utility Standards or be approved prior to the deadline for questions. See attachment for Utility Standards. Acceptable fire hydrants include AVK, MH, and Mueller or pre-approved equal. Acceptable MJ Fittings and Restraints include Star and Sigma Co. or pre-approved equal. All valves must be American Made.
