Description: The City of Myrtle Beach will be accepting Invitation for Bid (IFB) 24-B0039 for Deep Well Abandonment 2024. This project consists of removing pumps, properly chlorinating the wells per DHEC regulations, material disposal, and cementing three (3) wells for abandonment. The awarded Contractor will be responsible for submitting the appropriate documents and forms, including D-1903 to DHEC and the City. IFB forms and documents may be obtained from the Procurement Office located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC. IFB submissions must be received by the Procurement Office prior to 2:00p.m. (local time) Tuesday, April 30, 2024. No late or electronic submissions will be accepted. The City is not responsible for late or misdirected mail.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00a.m. (local time) Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Public Works Administration Building located at 3210 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC. On-time attendance and sign-in are required for bid consideration. No late attendees will be admitted. No remote attendance options are available.
