Description: The Village of Addison (hereafter Village) is seeking bids for the Dewatering and Cleaning of one (1) Anaerobic Digester, approximately 230,000 gallons, at the North Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 711 N. Addison Rd, Addison, IL. The scope of work will involve complete removal and proper disposal of all liquids, organic material, and inorganic material contained in the Anaerobic Digester, so as facility personnel can safely enter the digesters and inspect all piping and structures. All costs for piping repair will be the responsibility of the Village, with the exception of any piping damaged while cleaning. This is an Illinois Prevailing Wage Project.
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A visit to the site is required by all bidders to ascertain logistical problems prior to bid. Appointments can be scheduled with Doug Armstrong, Facility Foreman, or his designee at (630)-279-2140 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Bids received from bidders who did not visit the site and speak with the facility foreman or his designee will not be considered.
