Description:

1. PURPOSE
The City of Willard (the City) is seeking sealed competitive bids for the Storage Facility Construction Project, located at 233 N State Hwy Z, Willard MO, 65781.

2. SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 The successful bidder (Contractor) shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, and labor for the project to provide a completely new 4,000 square foot metal building facility at the above location consisting of the following components. 2.2 40’x 100’ rigid Frame clean span metal building meeting all current building code requirements.
2.3 Building shall have a 12’ high eve.
2.4 Building shall have 26-gauge panels.
2.5 Building shall have a concrete floor with 1” crown down the center.
2.6 Building shall have 5’ concrete approach ramps.
2.7 Building shall have closed gable ends.
2.8 Building shall have overhead garage doors of 12’ high x 8’ wide on each of the gable ends.
2.9 Building shall have ADA accessible door on one gable end.
2.10 The contractor shall include all work, costs, labor, etc. to provide a fixed price for the above building including, but not limited to:
          1. Review of building shop drawings with the City of Willard for approval
          2. All design calculations and permit plans
          3. Building permit
          4. Final certificate of occupancy
2.11 The successful bidder shall include a description of the building that will be provided under this proposal, including manufacturer information and structural details.
2.12 The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions and be responsible for protecting all involved City assets including but not limited to the building, well, infrastructure, equipment, access roads and grasses and landscaping from damage as a result of the work being performed.
2.13 The contractor shall clean up frequently all refuse, scrap metals and debris caused by it’s operations, so that the site of the work shall present a neat and orderly appearance. No such refuse, rubbish, scrap material and debris shall be left within the work area nor buried on
the building site, but shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of in a licensed landfill or otherwise as required by law.

CONTRACT TIME: As part of the bid, the contractor is required to prepare and submit a construction schedule showing major construction milestone and times for completion.

The contractor agrees that the goods or services furnished under any award resulting from this solicitation shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the contractor gives any customer for such goods or services and that the rights and remedies provided therein are
in addition to and do not limit those available to the City by any other clause of this solicitation.

A copy of this warranty should be furnished with the bid. At a minimum, all materials, equipment and labor shall be fully guaranteed by the contractor against defects resulting from the use of inferior materials, equipment, or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of final
acceptance of the entire project by the City in writing.
