Description: Hazelwood School District (“HSD” or “District”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for the purpose of selecting a qualified vendor of a fully hosted web–based Student Information System (“SIS”) to replace our current SIS. The preferred SIS will provide the District with a structured environment to collect, maintain and manage all student records and student–related information. The system will integrate student, parent, and teacher information in one platform and provide the District with the data collection and reporting capabilities to meet all federal and Missouri state reporting requirements from Preschool through Grade 12.

Question: Regarding the MBE/WBE requirements, (The Supplier Diversity Program also encourages its business partners to strive for a workforce goal of twenty five percent (25%) minority and five percent (5%) women.), since this bid is for web-based software, does the district expect the 30% to come from the total contract amount, or only the services portion of the fees?
Response: These are the District's goals and we ask the vendors to supply any information that would assist the District in obtaining those goals.
