Description:
The
purpose of this bid is to seek a contractor for the cleaning of the debris and
construction of a seawall with concrete cap with and alternate of construction
of a new boat dock for the City of Sebring facilities at Veteran’s Beach on
Lake Jackson located at 4261 Lakeview Drive in Sebring. As detailed in the
plans and specifications there is a proposed cleaning/removal/disposal of
asphalt/concrete bags/rocks/branches, the construction of a seawall with
concrete cap and connecting the new seawall into the existing sheet
pile/seawall and associative concrete patching and an alternate for the removal
and disposal of the existing boat dock and constructing a new concrete ramp,
stationary boat dock, gangway, floating boat dock along with the installation
of piles to support/stabilize the new dock.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. All interested parties will meet at 368 S. Commerce Ave., Sebring, FL 33870 in City Council Chambers. At 8:45 a.m., or shortly thereafter, all parties in attendance will leave for a site visit. Prospective bidders are required to attend only one pre-bid meeting. The City will not accept a bid submitted by a bidder who did not attend one of the pre-bid meetings.
