Description: The City of Wilson invites contractors to submit bids for the Upchurch Road Booster Pump Station Modivications Bid # 2424-37; Project # 24-101. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the City of Wilson at the City of Wilson’s EOC Training Room located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina 27893, until Friday, June 27, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work:  Interior Piping modification,  Exterior Site Piping additions,  Ultrasonic Flow Meters,  Butterfly Valves with Electric Actuators,  Solenoid Valves,  Motor Starter replacement with Variable Frequency Drives,  SCADA Addition and Modifications,  Alternate for Permanent Standby Generator and Automatic Transfer Switch. The Project has an expected duration of 270 days. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the City of Wilson’s EOC Training Room located at 1800 Herring Avenue, Wilson, North Carolina 27893. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
