Did the County work with a consultant to develop the RFP scope? 3. Ref. Task 2.6 – Recommendations - refers to defining likely locations for a facility. Are any locations currently under consideration? If so, how many and where? 4. Task 2.7 Demand Projection - refers to “facility improvements recommended…” is there a facility under consideration for renovation or reuse? 5. Response: 1. The 2017 County Strategic Plan cites a future Performing Arts Hall Feasibility Study. What was the impetus for this endeavor? St. Helena is an area with rich cultural resources and history for which the County would like to market, highlight, and enrich. 2. Did the County work with a consultant to develop the RFP scope? No, we reviewed other jurisdictional RFPs. 3. Ref. Task 2.6 – Recommendations - refers to defining likely locations for a facility. Are any locations currently under consideration? Yes. If so, how many and where? 1- located in the Corners area of St. Helena island. 4. Task 2.7 Demand Projection - refers to “facility improvements recommended…” is there a facility under consideration for renovation or reuse? No, the facility will be new construction. 5. Is it anticipated that the public will have input into the study? Yes, the selected vendor must recommend a process for soliciting stakeholder and community input to engage the community effectively.

Question: How was the 12-week project timeline (March 25, 2022 completion date) determined?

Response: Beaufort County is anxious to complete the study and have set a tight timeline in order to be able to use the results in support of requests for State, Federal, and various Foundation grants and funding while such funding opportunities remain high

Response: We do not publish the budget for projects. That may be determined during the evaluation period. You can find the timeline on page 3 of the solicitation

Response: “We are happy to have that discussion with responders during the section interview process but do not want the timeline to significantly exceed the 12 weeks stated. “
