Description: General
The County has an aging industrial grinder that has taken months to repair. In light of the down time associated with repairs and the fact that purchasing a new grinder could take more than (2) two years once ordered, the County needs an “on-call”/“stand by” service agreement to cover extended periods of mechanical breakdown.

Specifications
The County is seeking a vendor to supply On-call grinding of yard waste that passes through a six (6) inch screen (including trees, palm fronds, etc) at Baker Landfill and Wright Landfill in Okaloosa County. Pricing shall include Mobilization, Setup, and Demobilization. The County will be responsible for mulch material on the discharge side of the grinder as well as segregation and management of discards. (Estimate grinding biannually or no more than quarterly; subject to modification of timeline between visits. The County is not responsible for variance in volume or frequency from visit to visit.) Historically, County generates 13,000 to 16,000 tons of organics/yard trash annually for processing/grinding.
