Description: Hartsville/Trousdale County Government is requesting qualifications of licensed architectural and/or engineering firms to provide specified professional services in connection with the Hartsville/Trousdale Criminal Justice Center located in Hartsville, Tennessee.

Submission of proposal must be clearly marked on the front of the SEALED qualifications/ proposal package:

“HTC COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE CENTER ARCHITECTURAL PLANNING AND DESIGN SERVICES”

Sealed Qualifications/Proposals must be delivered to the Hartsville/Trousdale County Mayor’s Office, 328 Broadway, Room 6, Hartsville, Tennessee via the following methods:

• U.S. Postal Service
• Private Carrier Service, (i.e., FedEx, UPS)
• In Person
• Vendor Registry

Sealed Qualifications must be received in the Hartsville/Trousdale County Mayor’s Office by no later than 4:00pm, CST on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Late proposals will not be considered.

The Request for Qualifications must be submitted as follows:
• Four (4) original, bound hard copies signed in BLUE ink and one Adobe pdf copy are due no later than the date indicated as the closing date of this RFQ. OR
• One (1) exact copy of the original document submitted via Vendor Registry. The electronic media copy must be saved as one complete document in Adobe PDF format.

Please review the following documents carefully. Proposers will have an opportunity to submit questions regarding this Request for Qualifications. Questions may submitted via email to contact@trousdalecountytn.gov or via Vendor Registry no later than 2:00pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Responses to the questions will be posted via email and Vendor Registry no later than 4:00pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022. Any addenda will be posted on Vendor Registry & sent via email, by 2:00pm on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Question: 1. Does the County have a preferred method for delivery of responses? Do they prefer hard copies or is submitting through Vendor Registry ONLY sufficient? 2. The RFQ states on page 11, item 9 tat the existing Justice Center will continue to be used for civil and juvenile court. What is the anticipated scope for the new justice center courts and support areas? Should we assume two new court rooms (1 circuit, 1 sessions), associated clerk's office and other support space?

Is there a specific form the County wishes to be used or do respondents make a small statement with a signature and notary signature? No conflict of interest form was included in the original RFQ.
