Question 1

Posted: 11/2/2020

Question: Does the WebTMA system require barcode scanning for each fire extinguisher?

Response: t is not required to use the inspection tool, but we are hoping to get to the point that all equipment is barcoded in order to expedite the inspection process. TMA will be able to use existing bar codes or new bar codes to identify each piece of equipment. I don't think the extinguishers have any bar codes on them at this time, so they will need to be added once we can implement the inspection tool.
