Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Raton for the Municipal Building Lighting System Replacement Project - Project No. COR00021-01.  The work shall generally consist of replacement of existing ceiling mounted lighting throughout the Raton Municipal Building and the offices of Raton Public Service Co, and legal and proper disposal of existing fixtures and fluorescent bulbs. Replacement shall include provision and installation of all new lighting components and appurtenances and electrical/ structural modifications required for a functional operational system.  Sealed bids shall be received until Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the office of the City Manager as follows:  City of Raton, 224 Savage Avenue, P.O. Box 910, Raton NM  87740.   Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
