Description: The project will consist of widening 6.2 miles of roadway from the existing 4-lane configuration to six (6) general use lanes plus Flex Lanes, auxiliary lanes between Schofield Road and New Independence, replacement of the four (4) existing ramp toll plazas with new AET ramp gantries, and modifications to the existing New Independence Main toll plaza to remove the cash lanes and create a CFX Maintenance facility and lay-down yard. The project may also include signalization of the existing Schofield Road ramps and improvements along Schofield Road in coordination with Orange County.
