Description: The Flashing Yellow Arrow (FYA) Signalization Improvements consist of the replacement of traffic signal heads, with flashing yellow arrow indicators at 10 signalized intersections along all arterial and collector routes within the City of Wentzville. Related to this conversion are the replacement of conflict monitor devices to FYA compliant Malfunction Management Units, traffic control cabinet modifications, and replacement of MUTCD / ADA compliant Countdown Pedestrian Heads, and the upgrade of deficient detection equipment. The Accessible Pedestrian Signalization Improvements consists of the upgrade of ADA facilities at several City of Wentzville signalized intersections including curb ramps, audible / vibrotactile push buttons. Additionally, the project includes the installation of battery backup systems at each signalized intersection.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM on the 20th day of January 2017, at Wentzville City Hall at 310 West Pearce Blvd. Wentzville, MO 63385. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is ENCOURAGED but not mandatory.
