Description: The County is seeking a qualified Contractor who will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction services of South Glebe Road Intersection Improvements at the intersection of South Glebe Road and Arlington Ridge Road. The Project will reconfigure the street section with the addition of left-turn lanes both eastbound and westbound. Additional improvements include ADA-accessible ramps, sidewalks, pavement marking and signage, signalization upgrades, on-street parking, landscaping, asphalt pavement, and utility work.

Question: On the Utility Plan (Sheet 8A) Note 7 refers to "relocate existing overhead electric utility pole". Is this intended as part of the scope or is it to be done by others (Utility company)?

Response: The utility pole owner, Dominion Energy, will relocate the existing overhead electric utility pole. However, all the coordination work associated with the relocation of the utility pole will be the Contractor's responsibility.
