Addition 4

Type of Addition: Q&A
Overview:
Question #1:
Are we salvaging the existing
metal wall coping on the Front South End roof? (Similar to the Back South End) The specs call for the
R-value to be R-20. It also calls for the insulation board to be ½”. ½”
insulation board is NOT R-20. Is the existing roof system R-20? Is the 20-year warranty
Labor & Material or just a Material Warranty? Typically, the manufacturer’s
warranty is Labor & Material.
Answer: We are going to salvage the coping because it’s in good shape. What the current roof is, I don’t know but we want it done to code so whatever it takes to get it there is what we want. The 20 year warranty on labor and materials will be great.
