City of Raton, Railroad Ave. Bridge Replacement Project

Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by City of Raton for the Raton Bridge Replacement Project. The work shall generally consist of: Demolition and removal of two existing bridges and their existing channels, grading and construction of temporary detours, regrading of the drainage channels in preparation for new structures, installation of an aluminum box culvert for Bridge 1 to the north with aluminum headwalls, wingwalls, and invert, installation of a 66-inch CMP culvert for Bridge 2 to the south with concrete headwalls, roadway paving for Bridge 2, base course roadway for Bridge 1, and NMDOT guardrails and terminations for both bridges.

Questions posted to the Engineer after November 13, 2025 may not be answered. There is no Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for this project.

Bids will be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service through QuestCDN VirtuBidTM online bidding, or by sealed paper copy delivered to office of the Deputy City Manager as follows until November 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. You can submit an electronic bid after the question deadline for a non-refundable submission fee of $20 (total fee of $42 including the document download fee). Project bid documents must be downloaded from QuestCDN which will add your company to the Planholder List and allow access to VirtuBidTM for the online submittal of your bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
