Description: Dawson County Board of Commissioners on behalf of the Dawson County Parks/Recreation Department is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to solicit sealed responses from qualified vendors in the milling and repaving of parking lots and roadways with asphalt for the Veterans Memorial Park/Senior Services, located on Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Firms/individuals must provide all equipment, materials and labor to complete the scope of work. Detailed proposal documents are available at www.dawsoncounty.org. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on site, in the Veterans Memorial Park Gymnasium, at 186 Recreation Road, Dawsonville, GA, on November 20, 2017, at 10:30 AM. Questions in reference to the above IFB must be in writing to the Dawson County Purchasing Manager, Melissa Hawk at mhawk@dawsoncounty.org or faxed to 706-531-2728 before 1:00 p.m., November 27, 2017. All Addenda/answers will be posted to website no later than by 5:00PM, EST on December 1, 2017. Sealed proposals may be delivered to 25 Justice Way, Suite 2223, Dawsonville, GA 30534 until 10:30AM on December 7, 2017. The outside of the shipping container/envelope must be marked with the appropriate bid number and title. Immediately following the deadline the names of proposers will be recorded and read in the Administration Training Room at the above address. The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.
