Description: This project is located at the Fellsmere Water Management Area (FWMA), just west of the City of Fellsmere in Indian River County The objective of this project is to convert three electric submersible pumps to axial flow pumps. The existing submersible pumps (refer to as-builts in the bid document) shall be modified to maintain the new 250 HP horizontal motor above the vertical wet well can.

The budget estimated for the project is $350,000.00.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for June 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at the pavilion at the end of Fellsmere Grade Road (18625 Fellsmere Grade Road, longitude 27.823153, latitude -80.707523). Refer to map in the Statement of Work. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification on the requirements of the bid documents.
