The St. Johns River Water Management District (District) desires to to install approximately 1.6 miles of exclusion fencing along the L73, Section 2B western toe of slope from S161 to a gated access (see Site Plan for location detail) and from S161 north for approximately 0.3 miles for a total installation length of approximately 1.9 miles. The fence will be installed according to FWC specifications to prevent gopher tortoises from repopulating the project area.
