The City of Kilgore is
requesting proposals for its FY20 Crack Sealing (ST20-05) project to be
submitted by 2:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2020. This project consists of
cleaning and sealing cracks in asphalt pavement following TXDOT 2014
specifications (Item 712) using hot rubber crack sealant (Item 300, Section
2.8, Table 15 – Rubber-Asphaltic Crack Sealer). The project contains an
estimated 47,500 linear feet of cracks spread over approximately 215,000 square
feet of asphalt pavement. Maps are included with this RFP to give an overview
of the pavement locations. The project is to be completed within 90 days after
the effective date of the contract.
