Description: Jasper County is soliciting qualification statements from medical professionals who wish to provide medical director services to the Fire Rescue Division. Jasper County Fire Rescue provides pre-hospital advanced life support transport services to all residents and visitors in the County over 650 square miles, including 33 miles of interstate highway. In addition, basic life support is provided by all career staffed fire apparatus in the unincorporated areas of the County. The department responds to approximately 3,500 medical calls annually. The department is also looking to expand its services through a Community Paramedic program at some point in the future.
