The El Monte Union High School
District ("District”) is inviting vendors to submit proposals for
our 1:1 Chromebooks, attached is the RFQ sheets.
As a reminder:
1.
Proposals are due no
later than Friday, September 4, 2020?,
at 12:00p.m. Late proposals will not be considered.
2.
Proposals must be submitted to the
Purchasing Department only
3.
Proposals may be submitted via email
by the time and date indicated at: purchasing@emuhsd.org
4.
If referencing piggyback contract
pricing, a copy of the fully executed contract is required at time of
submission

1. Will you accept other
manufactures such as Dell or Lenovo? Are they compatible with the programs they
will be using? If we are not able to accept substitute please let us know
your reasoning.
Answer:
1.I'm not open to other
models at this time as then we need to review hardware for issues and stock
additional parts as well as train the techs on how to service...so for this
reason, I'd prefer to stick with the model/brand we have requested.

2. Can
you verify what length of optional warranty you are looking for?
OPTIONAL SERVICES: These services may not be required; therefore, may not be calculated or included as part of the award.

Warranty - Provide pricing option for:
o Additional two (2) years
OPTIONAL SERVICES: ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY
2. I'm open to receiving a pricing option for the additional 2 more years (3 years total), but originally was only requesting the traditional 1 year. Since these devices are higher end and in the hands of staff as opposed to students, I'd like to have that additional contingency...especially since the funding source gives us more flexibility to do this.

If you would like to offer protective case for the chromebooks please put it as an option on the bid. We are looking for ones that still allows for the device to flip 360 degrees into tablet mode without interfering.
