Escambia County Fire Rescue is seeking bids for the repair and refurbishment of a Kohler 125 KW portable diesel generator. The generator is located at the Pensacola Beach Fire Station 901 Via Deluna Drive Pensacola Beach, FL 32507. The engine/generator are in fair condition with relative low run hours. The trailer is in poor condition. There is extensive corrosion development surrounding the running gear. It is likely that in the trailers current condition it would be unsafe to tow. A visual inspection will be required by prospective vendors to ascertain the extent of repairs.
- Please provide a detailed estimate of the scope of work required for repair and or refurbishment.
- Provide an estimate of start and completion time of work.

Overview: In addition, please include an estimate of repair and refurbishment of any parts related to the generator (motor) and it's housing. As stated previously the generator is in working condition however, there may be some obvious corrosion due to constant exposure from the elements. The estimate should include an overall analysis of the entire generator which includes the housing, motor and trailer.

Name: Backup Generator Restoration & Repair / Pensacola Beach Fire Station #13 (Vendor-Airpower Svs)
Overview: Provide disassemble/ tear-down of generator, trailer and fuel tank assembly. Provide restoration of rust / corrosion of generator enclosure housing. Provide a new trailer and fuel tank. New trailer and fuel tank will have optional paint system factory applied for harsh environments (zinc primer with epoxy top coat).

Question: Will the bidder need to provide the labor, crane and trailer to complete he whole job? Or is this a quote just to provide a trailer?
Response: Please provide an estimate for your costs to pick up the generator and one without. Escambia County may have the ability to deliver the generator using the County's resources. The destination would determine if the County would be able to provide delivery of the generator.

Question: Will the diesel pump on the front of the trailer get re-used and applied to the new trailer? If not, do we need to quote a new pump on the new trailer?
Response: The diesel pump will be removed and applied to the new trailer. The pump was installed by Escambia County.
