Question #
1 – Please confirm the Architect wants the letters to be reverse channel
(which means they would be illuminated by their description). If they
were fabricated metal that would indicate non-illuminated. The issue I
see with them being illuminated on the solid concrete wall is that there is
nowhere to do the wiring other than a large reflection panel.
Letters to be reverse channel and illuminated. Wall is cmu
block where conduit is to be used to provide power.
Question #
2 – The plans call for fabricated metal (which are non-illuminated).
Should we assume they are not illuminated?
See above.
Question #
3 – Will nighttime work be allowed? If so please specify what activities
would be prohibited.
Nighttime work allowed. Low noise activities allowed.
Question #
4 – It will be difficult to keep the existing entrance open to traffic
during the construction period and still maintain worker and public safety.
Will we be allowed to cut in a new temporary entrance roadway as required to
facilitate traffic?
Yes, as long as temporary road does not require additional
tree removals; does not pass over trees to remain rootzones; does not impact
proposed storm water management facilities; permittable by town, county and
state agencies; or is outside the limits of work. Areas impacted to be
completely removed and does not impact finished work.
